This sandy beach features five acres of undeveloped shoreline, grassy dunes, and lots of driftwood. There are no facilities, but parking is available.
You'll almost have the place to yourself on this small, secluded Northern California beach. You can enjoy fishing, beachcombing, and kite flying.
The weather here is changeable, so dressing in layers is a good idea at any time of year. Summer fogs usually burn off by noon, and temperatures are generally mild. Winters tend to be cool and rainy. The sunniest weather comes in spring and fall.
Pelican SB is located right at the Oregon border, off Highway 101. Keep a sharp eye out, because the access is easy to miss. It's 21 miles north of Crescent City, the last road before the agricultural inspection station.
