Sunset Beach is an unincorporated community in north Orange County, California. Located south of Seal Beach and Surfside, many houses reside on sand beaches, with hotels, restaurants and shops situated along Pacific Coast Highway, the primary road passing through this one mile stretch of land. The 100-year-old community consists of a mix of long time residents and newcomers who share a passion for the beach and independence in ingenuity in protecting their treasured location in North Orange County.
This 1 mile long stretch of Orange County coastline is about as unique as a beach town can get these days. It's located just north of Huntington Beach (just above Bolsa Chica) and South of Seal Beach.
